Recommended flexible set: Slow Grenade + Laser + Cannon + Tesla. It covers control, two forms of lane damage and rear cleanup. Do not activate any ability during the run.
Choose four complementary types
Hold each lane inside the main firing arcs.
Exploit the enclosed spaces and repeated wall crossings.
Cross-fire into the four incoming lanes and thin packed traffic.
Cluster near the inner objective to catch leaks from any side.
If your upgrades favor another branch, successful community alternatives include Slow Grenade + Mortar + Cannon + Tesla; Slow Grenade + Laser + Cannon + Gunner; and Slow Grenade + Laser + Flamethrower + Tesla. The shared structure matters more than one exact roster.
Deployment sequence
- Confirm the restriction. Select only the four chosen tower types and leave every active ability unused.
- Control each funnel. Put Slow Grenades where the four approaches begin to compress.
- Create lane cross-fire. Aim Cannons through one primary lane while retaining coverage over a neighboring route.
- Build Laser gates where walls cooperate. Do not force a bounce on an unreliable slanted edge.
- Protect the center with Tesla. The inner cluster should only see the weakened survivors.
No abilities means no emergency click
Missile, Strafe, Cryo Beam and Nuke uses invalidate the stated achievement restriction. If a lane fails, take the loss, move the control point or firing arc, and retry without clicking an ability.
Why attempts fail
- Your four choices all deal damage but none keep the horde inside that damage.
- Teslas sit too far forward and waste their rapid cleanup attacks on the main mass.
- Mortar knockback sends explosive or displaced orcs toward the center faster.
- The Laser path looks long but does not create reliable repeated crossings.
- The selected tower branches are not upgraded enough; several successful players recommend near-complete upgrades.
